These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BloxStart web application at https://bloxstart.vercel.app (the "Service") operated by BloxStart ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

BloxStart is an AI-powered web application that helps Roblox creators build games through guided, persona-driven chat. The Service generates Luau scripts and Rojo project files based on your design choices.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must not share your account with others
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms

    • 3. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates Roblox's Terms of Use
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service (outside of normal API usage)
  • Submit false or misleading information when publishing templates
  • Circumvent any access controls or security measures

    • 4. Generated Content and Intellectual Property

    Your Content

  • Game configurations, design choices, and custom names you provide remain yours
  • Generated Luau scripts are provided for your use in Roblox Studio — you may use, modify, and publish them freely
  • Templates you publish to the marketplace are shared under a public license allowing other users to fork and modify them

    • Our Content

  • The BloxStart application, UI design, AI prompts, and persona characters (Jordan, Alex, Casey) are our intellectual property
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service itself

    • AI-Generated Scripts

  • Scripts generated by the Service are created using AI (Claude by Anthropic) based on your inputs
  • We do not claim ownership of AI-generated scripts — they are yours to use
  • We do not guarantee that generated scripts are free of bugs or suitable for any particular purpose
  • You are responsible for reviewing and testing scripts before publishing them on Roblox

    • 5. Community Templates

    If you publish a template to the BloxStart marketplace:

  • You grant other BloxStart users the right to fork and modify your template
  • You must not include harmful, offensive, or misleading content
  • Templates that receive community flags may be reviewed and removed by our moderation team
  • We reserve the right to remove any template at our discretion

    • 6. Roblox Integration

  • BloxStart is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation
  • Connecting your Roblox account is optional and governed by Roblox's own Terms of Use
  • We use the Roblox Open Cloud API to publish scripts on your behalf, only when you explicitly initiate a push
  • We are not responsible for any actions taken by Roblox regarding your account or published games

    • 7. Subscriptions and Payments

  • BloxStart offers a free tier and an optional paid Pro plan
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

    • 8. Disclaimers

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Generated scripts will be bug-free or meet your specific requirements
  • The Service will be compatible with all versions of Roblox Studio

    • 9. Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

    10. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

    • 11. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

    12. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
